I live with my wife Becky in Woodland and we have three children at Woodland School.
I have work for the Ordnance Survey for most of my career as a Surveyor and in Geographical Information. My present role is as Operations Trainer this gets me involved in IT projects, staff development, and training design and delivery.
I work at home and in the Ordnance Survey head office in Southampton. When training is rolled out across Great Britain I have to travel to the training venues.
My leisure interest include (when I have free time) Photography, Gardening, Cycling, and being creative with Film, Animation and model set building.
I became a Governor because I believe that Primary education is Key to a child’s future and wanted to offer to the school my support and experience to make the school successful and be a happy place for all pupils to learn in and for staff to work in.
