On Wednesday 1st February our school took part in the NSPCC’s (National Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Children) Number Day. Your donations of £1 will go to the NSPCC and help many children across England.
Owl Class did many maths related activities including: my favourite number activity, prime and square number work, multiples and factors activities and an activity called give me four, were you have to give four clues to a chosen number.
Badger Class took part in shape and number investigations.
Meanwhile in Squirrel class they spent the day setting up a pizza shop. They learned about halves and quarters, they solved problems, paid for their pizzas, made posters and wrote orders. In the afternoon they made pizzas, cut them into quarters and ate them! Yum, Yum! It was a fun day!
