Introduction

Our SEN Information Report – which is part of Durham County Council’s Local Offer – provides details about how we support children and young people with Special Educational Needs in our school.

The SEN Information Report was reviewed and updated on 17th April 2018.

Woodland School is committed to the equal inclusion of all learners in all aspects of school life. We recognise the individual needs and abilities of all our pupils and support them to access the curriculum, engage fully in school life and fulfil their potential. We recognise the additional support required for those with special educational needs.

This SEND Information Report should be read alongside the school’s SEND Policy, the Equalities Information and Objectives and the Accessibility Plan.
