What a busy couple of week it’s been at Woodland!
Since the start of December school has been Christmas ready with our tree and decorations for all to enjoy. A special thank you to Doris and Lenny for making us a beautiful new Nativity scene.
This year our Christmas play – A Very Special Christmas and the Journey, followed the 2020 trend and went online! Thank you for all your lovely comments we are so pleased you enjoyed it.
Last Wednesday we all had a delicious Buffet Christmas Lunch made by our fantastic school cook Karen Yum, Yum! It was a lovely treat and we all had great fun eating and listening to Christmas songs together with our bubbles.
Squirrel class made beautiful Christmas cards to send out to everyone who usually enjoys our singing at the Woodland Village Hall luncheon club.
Wednesday was party day and we had lots of exciting games. The children played in their bubbles and it was lovely to see how well they all help each other to share the fun. Santa sent a surprise video and presents for all the children and then we enjoyed a party feast!
Friday was ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ and we all enjoyed our last day in school before Christmas and finished the afternoon off watching Christmas films!
We have had a fabulous term in spite of the strange circumstances and we would like to wish you all a happy, healthy Christmas break.
See you all next year!
