The year 5 & 6 children travelled to Newton Aycliffe to compete in a netball tournament with many schools around the area.
Woodland (B) team (year 5’s) managed to get to the quarter finals, but sadly, we lost 3-2 against Evenwood (A), it was a very close match!
Woodland (A) team (year 6’s)ย made it to the final and we played with enthusiasm and skill and scored many goals. Our opponents were a strong team as well, meaning at the end of the match, it was a 2-2 draw and had to go into last goal wins. Woodland scored the last goal and won the tournament!
The netball tournament was great fun and we all played really well in our teams.
