Wonderful Woodland Work!

29th January 2021 By katrinascanlon

This term Squirrel class topic is London and Owl class topic is the Anglo Saxons. We have had some fantastic creative items made both from the children doing online learning at home and also by the keyworker children in school.

Watch out for more work to be put on the Blog next week!

Luke and Lewis made this fabulous cake of Queen Elizabeth with their mum and dad as part of their home learning topic on London. Keep the London themed food coming Squirrels! They also made ladybird cakes after reading ‘What the Ladybird Heard on Holiday’.  Lewis informed everyone that a group of ladybirds is called a ‘loveliness’!  Did you know that?  What a lovely name!

Matilda’s London home baking were biscuits of Big Ben and a London bus, fantastic!

Nursery have been making construction items, a fabulous bridge was built, but some slight adjustments had to be made to the story as they didn’t have a goat – so they improvised and used a horse instead!  Wonderful work.

Great artwork and models made of the London guards and Tower of London ravens

In school the children made Chelsea buns. They looked delicious! Yum, Yum
